Try It Tuesday: Virtual Travel Resources
Let's Take a Virtual Road Trip
As much as we wish it weren't true, we sure don't have the ability to travel right now like we used to. But even as we weather at home, we are so fortunate to be able to still see the world through the wonders of technology. It has been so humbling to see the world coming together and finding ways to help each other connect during these unprecedented times.
And while virtual travel will never replace seeing these wonderful sites in person, we are so grateful for the incredible resources our cultural landmarks, national parks, museums, aquariums, and more have been sharing - no admission or airline ticket required! Below are just a few of our favorites. Let's take a little virtual road trip today!
- Louvre Museum
- Monterey Bay Aquarium
- San Diego Zoo
- Smithsonian Museum
- NPS Find Your Virtual Park Experience
- Save the gas and go on a virtual road trip with perfectly curated music with Interstate Kyle!
- Air Pano offers incredible 360* views of a large collection of the world's wonders like the Great Wall of China or even the Northern Lights
- Google Earth - explore Great Pyramids of Giza, the Roman Coliseum, the Taj Mahal, and more!
Have you discovered any wonderful virtual experiences we are missing? Drop us a line - we'd love to add to our list.
